UGO NITZSCHE

Architect and Lighting Designer

Ugo Nitzsche is an architect and urban planner who graduated in 2004 from Santa Úrsula University in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He began working with lighting in 2001 at the offices of prominent lighting designers—Maneco Quinderé in 2001 and Nils Ericson in 2002—where he acquired technical and conceptual knowledge and experience in lighting effects and their application in projects. In 2003, before graduating, he worked at LaLampe, one of the country’s most renowned lighting and designer-luminaire stores, before founding his own practice in 2004: NTZ Architectural Lighting.
